Gather (the “Service”) provides community management tools to community organisers and members. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it. If you have questions, email hello@ongather.co.

What we collect

• Account data — email, display name, avatar, and community memberships.
• Content you create — posts, comments, events, and event registrations.
• Usage data — page views, feature usage, and diagnostic logs used to keep the Service running.
• Payment metadata — anonymised transaction records; card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by Gather.

How we use it

• Operate and secure the Service.
• Send you transactional messages (invites, receipts, event reminders).
• Send you marketing emails only when you have opted in. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@ongather.co. We will respond within 30 days.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with sub-processors necessary to run the Service (hosting, email delivery, payments) under written data-processing agreements.
